What is the purpose of the register?

We collect information from our customers for the purpose of managing and developing customer and cooperative relationships. Customer data is collected and processed to manage customer enquiries or contracts and to provide information and services in such customer service situations.

This data serves direct marketing purposes, provided with the customers’ consent to provide their contact details, without any repercussion on the right to object to direct marketing directed at them. Information is also collected from potential customers and partners, and from publicly available sources such as company or community websites, in order to develop and enable cooperation.
The data obtained shall be processed for statistical purposes to comprehend how users interact with the website and to analyze search behavior. We state that this information must only be processed as an aggregated form and in a format that does not allow the identification of any individual.

Data is obtained through information received from the customers, business research, websites and other public sources.
Duration of data processing
Data shall be kept for an indefinite period. As a general rule, personal data will be processed for as long as the customer relationship or partnership is in force. At the end of the customer relationship, the data will be archived. Subscribers to our marketing list have the possibility to unsubscribe themselves via link in every marketing email we send.
Data disclosure
Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, and it may be published to the extent agreed with the customer.

Protection of the register
The register is processed with due care and the data processed by the computer systems is adequately protected. While the data in the register is stored on Internet servers, physical and digital security of the hardware is adequately ensured. The controller shall ensure that stored data, as well as access rights to servers and other information critical to the security of personal data, are treated confidentially and only by employees whose job description includes this.
Rights of data subjects
Data subjects at any given time have the right to verify which data relating to their persona has been recorded in the personal data register. A written request for verification should be signed and sent to the person responsible for the register at sihteeri.vimpeli@yrittajat.fi.
Data subjects are also in their right to request the rectification, erasure and portability of inaccurate or outdated information. It possesses the right to withdraw his or her prior consent to the processing of data or to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authorities concerning the processing of their personal data.
